About Us
The Sydney Kyudo Kai (‘SKK’) is a not-for-profit incorporated association, practicing, supporting and informing of Kyudo, the martial art of traditional Japanese archery, within the Sydney and greater NSW area. The Sydney Kyudo Kai was officially created in June 2018 but practice has been taking place since 2014 in Sydney.
We are a friendly community based Dojo and welcome anyone looking to start their Kyudo journey.
For more information on our training sessions, see the FAQ.
Meet the Team
The Sydney Kyudo Kai, as a not-for-profit association, is directed by an elected committee. The last election took place in January 2024 and the current committee has been elected for two years.
In conjunction with our instructor Peter Dodd, the committee works hard to provide its members with the best training environment and access to teaching.
